NSS Statement on Controversial Video
On the evening of January 30, a video circulated online that drew significant attention, showing a group of individuals singing in Azerbaijani about 'Karabakh' in Yerevan's Republic Square. The National Security Service (NSS) issued a clarification regarding the video, stating that the individuals depicted in the footage are actually citizens of the Islamic Republic of Iran: Milad Gahramaniafshar, Behzad Ghafari Shabanzlou, Mehdi Mohammadi, Hamed Azizi Maleki, and Nader Ghafari.
These individuals were present in the Republic of Armenia from December 30, 2024, to January 3, 2025. The NSS calls for caution against disseminating unverified and misleading information and commentary.
