Tragedy Could Have Been Avoided: Trump on the Plane Crash
U.S. President Donald Trump has responded to the recent plane crash in the United States. “The crew of the helicopter that collided with an airplane in Washington's skies should have changed course; the tragedy could have been avoided,” Trump declared.
He also questioned why the military helicopter did not see the commercial aircraft in clear weather and did not avoid a collision while landing.
It is worth noting that near Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, a commercial airplane collided with a military helicopter while landing over the Potomac River. At least 18 bodies have been discovered, with officials confirming that there are no survivors among them.
