Police Brutality Against Artsakh Resident: Details Revealed
Police officers in the Charentsavan department brutally assaulted Ara Ohanyan, a resident of Artsakh, leading to him receiving treatment at the Mikhailian Medical Center for the fourth consecutive day, according to human rights defender Roman Yerazyan.
Before being taken to the hospital, the police threatened Ohanyan and urged him to claim that his injuries were the result of a fall. After sustaining his injuries, he was initially transferred to the Charentsavan hospital, from where he was referred to the Mikhailian Medical Center.
According to relatives, police officers from the same department have also used violence against them and other individuals.
