Lavrov on the Causes of Navalny's Death

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, Sergey Lavrov, stated in an interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson that Germany and the United States could clarify the reasons for the death of Russian opposition figure Alexei Navalny.

"Germany, in communication with the USA, could provide more information regarding Alexei Navalny's treatment," Lavrov said.

He noted that there is still no data on the politician's treatment in Germany in 2020. "There is no answer to the question of where the results of the medical investigations are for the recently deceased Navalny, who was treated in Germany in the autumn of 2020," the diplomat emphasized.

It is noteworthy that Navalny died in a Russian prison on February 16 of this year.
