"Serious Situation": Georgia Responds to Zelensky
The Georgian authorities have not received official notifications from Ukraine regarding the imposition of sanctions against Georgian officials. This was announced by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.
“We have not yet received an official notification. The imposition of sanctions indicates the difficult situation in Ukraine,” the Prime Minister stated during a press briefing.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky signed a decree imposing sanctions against Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili, the founder of the ruling "Georgian Dream" party Bidzina Ivanishvili, and 17 other representatives of the Georgian authorities.
