Andranik Kocharyan Stands Before the CP Administration and Apologizes
The newspaper "Joghuyd" reports that recently, CP member Andranik Kocharyan apologized to MPs Hrachya Hakobyan and Sisak Gabrielyan. On November 12, during a meeting of the CP administration, when ‘heroes’ of the party were called, including Kocharyan, Gabrielyan, and Hakobyan, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took a sharp stance.
He demanded that Kocharyan either prove that Sisak Gabrielyan and his brother-in-law Hrachya Hakobyan are businessmen's 'drug dealers' or apologize to them openly in front of the entire faction for the insults and slanders.
As previously reported, Kocharyan had labeled Gabrielyan and Hakobyan by linking them to businesspeople gaining wealth through betting and drug trafficking, referring to them as the businessman's 'drug dealers.'
According to the media, Andranik Kocharyan, with his head down, apologized to Hakobyan and Gabrielyan before the CP administration members for his false statements and slanders.
Prime Minister Pashinyan also demanded that Kocharyan apologize to all the other CP members he offended, a number that is quite significant. Moreover, to tighten the punishment, Pashinyan stipulated that Kocharyan must come forward with his confession during party meetings in the presence of everyone.
However, Kocharyan is still resisting on this matter and refusing to apologize to his other teammates for the unnecessary labeling and offending. It’s worth noting that Kocharyan is categorically against apologizing to Yerevan's deputy mayor Armen Pambukhchyan, whom he slanders in front of everyone, for which Pambukhchyan has approached Pashinyan.
So far, he has only apologized to Hrachya Hakobyan and Sisak Gabrielyan.
