No Attention Given to Captured Armenians by Countries Participating in COP29 for the Sake of Justice
Mané Tandilyan, the president of the 'Country of Living' party, writes: 'At the COP29 summit taking place in Baku, representatives from over a hundred countries are present, including heads of state. A few hundred meters away from this internationally significant event, citizens of the Republic of Armenia are imprisoned. No one is addressing this issue; no one is boycotting the event for the sake of human rights, for the sake of justice.
Unfortunately, in the modern world, the interests of states and personal interests often prevail over human rights and universal values in international relations. We can find allies on our issues in the international arena solely based on our power as a state. Otherwise, the hopes for justice will continue to be unmet, leading to disappointment.'
