It is Very Important to Do Everything to Build a Future Between Armenia and Azerbaijan: Macron
French President Emmanuel Macron expressed hope during his speech at the European Political Community summit in Budapest that a peace treaty between Armenia and Azerbaijan could be signed. This was reported by the French ambassador to Armenia on his X page.
“The President of the French Republic, Mr. Emmanuel Macron, at the European Political Community summit in Budapest: 'It is very important to do everything to build a future between Armenia and Azerbaijan. And I hope that the peace treaty can be signed,'” the ambassador wrote.
“We Europeans (...), we no longer wish for imperialism and we no longer want border changes on our continent,” he added.
