New Ambassadors Appointed in Three Countries: Vahagn Khachaturyan
Several ambassadors have been recalled from their posts and appointed to serve in other countries. Armenian President Vahagn Khachaturyan has issued decrees appointing new ambassadors to Iran, Syria, and Turkmenistan.
Grigor Hakobyan has been appointed as the Armenian ambassador to Iran, Ruben Kharazyan to Syria, and Arsen Avagyan to Turkmenistan. Prior to this, Arsen Avagyan served as the Armenian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary in Iran, while Ruben Kharazyan was the ambassador to Turkmenistan.
Additionally, through another decree, the president has recalled Ambassador Tigran Gevorgyan from Syria.
