Iranian Athlete Donates Gold Medal to Family of Armenian Friend Who Died in 44-Day War
The Kyokushin karate athlete Ahmad Bagheri visited the Armenian embassy and, in memory of his friend Arthur Sukiasyan who died in the 44-day war, presented a gold medal he recently won in Denmark to Ambassador Arsen Avagyan. This was reported by the Armenian embassy in Iran.
Ambassador Avagyan highly appreciated the athlete's gesture, wished him great success in sports, and promised to pass the received medal to Arthur Sukiasyan's family.
