I Could Not Be More Ukrainian Than They Are: Boris Johnson on Allegations of Disrupting Istanbul Agreements
The former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Boris Johnson, has denied allegations of disrupting the Istanbul agreements between Russia and Ukraine. This was reported by 360.ru.
In his new book, the British official claims that he merely assured Ukrainian President Zelensky of Western support. “It is not my place to tell him how to negotiate... While I consistently supported Ukraine, I could not be more Ukrainian than the Ukrainians themselves,” Johnson wrote.
Johnson's former political strategist had previously spoken about Johnson's pivotal role in igniting the Ukrainian conflict. Dominic Cummings stated that this was an attempt by Boris Johnson to stay in power.
