Bagrat the Bishop Sues Pashinyan: 'Hraparak'
Leader of the "Tavush for the Homeland" movement, Bagrat the Bishop, has filed a lawsuit against Nikol Pashinyan. This was reported by "Hraparak".
On July 15, during a meeting in the courtyard of St. Anna Church with supporters, he mentioned the grounds for the lawsuit against Pashinyan: "I am personally initiating a legal process against this evil. It turns out that in Parliament, that traitor slandered me by saying that the bishop approached the police on June 12 and told them, 'Guys, you're putting on helmets for nothing, don't put on the helmets,' and then he went and organized a process of hitting with stones, that is, me. First, I went and said to take off the helmets, and then I went and said to break everything. This is the statement he made from the podium of Parliament, and I just found out this morning. That lying coward traitor, who wants to ride a bicycle from Berlin to who knows where, made such a statement, and now we will check whether the judicial system in Armenia works or not. Which judge is willing to take this case to the end?"
He demands that the defamatory statements be publicly refuted. The court has accepted the lawsuit, which has been assigned to Judge Malvina Harutyunyan.
