Azerbaijanis Could Reach Altai in Search of Historical Homeland: Simonian

Azerbaijanis seeking their historical homeland might end up in Altai. This statement was made today by the President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonian, during a brief conversation with reporters in the National Assembly. He was responding to questions regarding Ilham Aliyev's claims that Azerbaijanis should supposedly 'return to Western Azerbaijan.'

'The circles in Azerbaijan that are in search of a historical homeland should not get too carried away with this, because it may turn out they need to relocate and live in Altai,' Simonian stated. He emphasized that such discussions are not currently taking place.
