Israeli Army Reports 10 Shells Fired Following Lebanese Airstrike
The northern regions of Israel have come under renewed fire from Lebanon, according to the army's press service. Earlier, military officials reported that airstrike alerts were triggered in the Haifa Bay area and Central Galilee.
"It has been recorded that about 10 shells were fired from Lebanon, some of which were intercepted," the statement said.
Meanwhile, the Israeli police press service reported that several shells were intercepted in the sky over the Kiryat conglomeration located northeast of Haifa. The law enforcement agencies noted that one of the projectiles fell in an open area near the village of Afek in this region, causing a fire that is currently being extinguished.
