Criminal Proceedings Initiated Against Former Metro Director
On September 18, the investigation department of the Armenian Investigative Committee in Yerevan's Arabkir district received information from the Arabkir division of the police regarding the discovery of factual data indicating a crime during the pre-investigation of a criminal case. Former director of the Yerevan Metro, named after Karen Demirchyan, Paylak Yaloyan, is accused of causing damage to the organization through the misappropriation of property due to his failure to perform official duties and stealing large amounts of property.
This information was reported by Shamshyan. A criminal case has been initiated based on Article 256, Part 3, Point 3 of the Armenian Criminal Code. Relevant documents have been prepared by the Arabkir police and transferred to the Arabkir investigation department of the Armenian Investigative Committee.
