Arrest Warrants Issued for Erdoğan and Palestinian President at ICC
The Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, has urged the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague to issue arrest warrants for the Presidents of Turkey and Palestine, rather than pursuing leaders elected democratically in Israel. This was reported by RIA Novosti.
“ICC prosecutor Karim Khan met with Turkish President Erdoğan, known for the killing of Kurdish civilians and the imprisonment of journalists, as well as with Mahmoud Abbas, the President of the Palestinian Authority, who denies the Holocaust and pays terrorists to kill Jews. Instead of issuing arrest warrants for Erdoğan and Abbas for war crimes, Khan continues to present democratically elected leaders in Israel as war criminals, while they are waging a just war against terrorists,” Netanyahu stated.
The Israeli Prime Minister sarcastically noted that such occurrences could only happen at the UN.
