Zelensky Comments on Assassination Attempt Against Trump
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has commented on the recent assassination attempt against Donald Trump, a candidate for President of the United States. “I am glad to know that Donald Trump is safe and has not been harmed. Best wishes to him and his family. It is good that the suspect in the assassination attempt has been quickly apprehended. Our principle is that the rule of law prevails over everything, and political violence has no place in the world. We sincerely hope that everyone will be safe,” wrote the Ukrainian president.
It is noteworthy that a shooting occurred at Donald Trump's golf club in Florida while the presidential candidate was on the course. He was not injured. The Federal Bureau of Investigation is investigating the incident as an assassination attempt against Trump.
