Pope Francis Criticizes Trump and Harris
Pope Francis stated yesterday that the upcoming US presidential election involves choosing "the lesser of two evils," criticizing former President Donald Trump's anti-migrant policies and Vice President Kamala Harris's support for abortion rights.
“One must choose the lesser of two evils. Who is the lesser of the two evils? That lady or that gentleman? I don’t know,” Francis said at a press conference, referring to Harris and Trump, as reported by CNN.
“Everyone with a conscience should think about this and do it.”
“To send refugees off, to leave them wherever you want, to abandon them... is a terrible thing; there is evil in that. To remove a child from a mother’s womb is murder, because there is life. We must speak clearly about these things,” he added.
