Gerasim Vardanyan's Detention Extended for Another Month
The examination of the petition to extend the detention of the member of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation, Gerasim Vardanyan, for another two months has concluded. Attorney Sergey Harutyunyan reported this information. He noted that the investigator's petition was partially granted, and the court has extended Gerasim Vardanyan's detention for another month.
According to the lawyer, there was no valid justification for extending the detention. "This is a criminal-political case, and the decisions appear to be politically motivated as well," he stated.
It should be noted that Gerasim Vardanyan was detained as a preventive measure in connection with a case related to allegedly distributing 5,000 drams to participants in protests.
