The newspaper "Pats" reports that yesterday there was a significant uproar regarding the information that a building on Paruir Sevak Street had been demolished. It was noted that the building had been blown up.

However, the municipality clarified that the building was demolished with their permission and that it was not blown up but rather dismantled. "Pats" sought to clarify what exactly happened. It turned out that the former 12-story building of the Tax Committee had been dismantled to make way for a new building on Paruir Sevak Street. According to our information, that building had been deemed emergency.

Initially, it was planned to blow it up, but responding to the requests and concerns of residents from neighboring buildings, as well as considering the municipality's advice, the construction company decided to dismantle the building instead of blowing it up.

In response to a query from "Pats," the construction company confirmed our information and added that the demolition did not cause any damage to the surrounding areas. An hour after the demolition works, local residents informed our correspondent that a cloud of dust had "hovered for 2-3 minutes." By that time, cleaning and washing operations were already underway in the area.
