Armenia and Iran's Foreign Ministries Discuss Peace Process with Azerbaijan
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, received Mohammad Hasan Sheikholeslam, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The interlocutors discussed issues related to the bilateral agenda and regional developments. Minister Mirzoyan welcomed the participation of the Iranian side in the "Yerevan Dialogues" international forum and the exchange of ideas that took place.
They discussed regional matters, specifically referring to the efforts aimed at establishing lasting stability and peace in the South Caucasus. In this context, the Armenian Foreign Minister addressed the peace process with Azerbaijan.
In the context of unblocking regional transport and economic communications, the necessity of unreserved respect for the principles laid down in the concept of the "Peace Crossroads" program was emphasized, particularly regarding territorial integrity and sovereignty, a steadfast position of the Iranian side that Minister Mirzoyan highly appreciated.
