VIDEO: Yerevan Residents Can Monitor Air Dust Pollution Levels, Says Municipality
Yerevan is the only local self-government body that has introduced a GIS system for the first time, allowing residents to monitor air dust pollution levels. This announcement was made by the Yerevan Municipality.
“Yerevan is the only local self-government body that has implemented a GIS system for the first time. The platform creates significant opportunities for city management and digitalization of information. It enables users to view the 3D model of any building or area, as well as the city's development and construction over the years. It is also possible to monitor public transport movement and assess service quality. Thanks to the platform, it is now easy to see where waste is accumulating in the city and when and how it will be removed. Residents can now monitor air dust pollution levels and the progress of the annual elevator replacement program via the platform,” the statement read.
