UAE Closely Monitoring Pavel Durov's Case
The UAE is closely monitoring the case of its citizen, Pavel Durov, the founder of Telegram, who was arrested by French authorities at Paris-Le Bourget airport. This was stated in a message from the country's Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The UAE has sent an inquiry to the French government requesting that urgent consular services be provided to Durov. The Ministry emphasized in its statement that prioritizing the welfare of UAE citizens, protecting their interests, and providing comprehensive support is a key priority for the UAE.
