Delaying Iran's Response May Be Linked to the Scale of Action, Tigran Abrahamyan
“Despite the fact that certain circles associate the delay of the Iranian strike with secret negotiations, it is more likely that there are two other key factors behind it. First, the effectiveness of any action is based on the factor of unpredictability. Following Israel's strike on the Hamas leader, immediately going into action was highly predictable, and countering it would have been much easier.
Second, the delay of Iran's strike may be linked to the scale of the action, which is being meticulously planned and may not be limited to a local operation, potentially escalating into a large-scale war,” he wrote.
