More than 1700 Armenian Trucks Waiting at the Upper Lars Checkpoint
More than 1,700 Armenian trucks are currently in the electronic queue to cross the Russian-Georgian border at the "Upper Lars" checkpoint in North Ossetia. This was reported by the website of the North Ossetian Road Traffic Organization Center.
Overall, according to the latest data, 5,261 vehicles are registered in the queue. Out of these, 1,729 trucks are registered in the electronic queue to travel to Georgia.
In recent days, enormous lines have formed on the road leading from Russia to Georgia through the "Upper Lars" checkpoint. The traffic jams are increasing due to a significant flow of passengers and trucks, exacerbated by the export and holiday season.
