Citizen Unable to Return to Shore on His Own
On August 10, at 15:41, a call was received by the crisis management center of the Gegharkunik regional emergency management service, reporting an unmoving boat approximately 2 km off the shore of a resort area on Lake Sevan. Upon arrival, the rescue team found that the motorboat had capsized 2 km from the shore, and the citizen was unable to return to the shore on his own.
The rescuers managed to bring T. S. (born in 1998) back to land. The Ministry of Internal Affairs' rescue service has issued a statement regarding the incident.
