HAMAS Appoints New Head of Political Bureau
The leadership of HAMAS has made a decision regarding the new head of the organization's political wing. Yahya Sinwar, who previously led the political bureau of HAMAS in the Gaza Strip, will succeed Ismail Haniyeh, who was killed last week in Tehran. This information was reported by the Russian service of the BBC.
The HAMAS movement of Islamic resistance states that Yahya Sinwar has been elected as the leader of the movement's political wing.
Sinwar is considered one of the organizers of the attack on Israel on October 7, 2023.
