Russia's Foreign Ministry Comments on Appointment of Armen Koloian as Head of Public Radio
The increasing influence of the West on the media resources of Armenia, as in any other country, can only lead to negative outcomes. The United States and the European Union aim to shape public opinion everywhere against Russia. This was stated by Andrei Nastasin, Deputy Director of the Information and Press Department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, during a briefing regarding the appointment of Armen Koloian as the head of the Public Radio of the Republic of Armenia.
“The Americans and Europeans are acting with a conjunctural logic, aiming to direct public opinion against Russia everywhere. They also seek to undermine the time-honored friendship between Russia and Armenia and the importance of the assistance that Moscow has provided and continues to offer to fraternal Armenia in various fields,” he said.
