What Rubinyan and Kılıç Agreed Upon: Armenian Foreign Ministry Details
The special representatives of Armenia and Turkey for the normalization process, Ruben Rubinyan, the Deputy Speaker of the Armenian National Assembly, and Ambassador Serdar Kılıç, have held their fifth meeting at the Margara-Alican border crossing between the two countries. This was reported by the Armenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
They reaffirmed the agreements reached during previous meetings. Additionally, they agreed to assess the technical needs in accordance with regional developments, which will enable the operation of the Akhurik/Akyaka railway border crossing, as well as to mutually simplify visa procedures for holders of diplomatic and official passports.
In conclusion, they once again emphasized their commitment to continue the normalization process without any preconditions, in order to achieve the ultimate goal of comprehensive normalization between the two countries.
