Roberto Linguanoto, Creator of Tiramisu, Passes Away in Italy
Roberto Linguanoto, the creator of the tiramisu dessert, has passed away in Italy at the age of 81. According to Corriere, he died after a long illness.
“We remember him with love... Without his invention, the global movement of tiramisu lovers would not exist,” said Francesco Redi, organizer of the World Tiramisu Championship. He also expressed his heartfelt condolences regarding Linguanoto's passing.
