Suspect in Moscow Car Explosion Entered Turkey as a Tourist, Ministry of Interior Says
A Russian citizen arrested in Bodrum on suspicion of a car explosion in Moscow entered Turkey as a tourist, according to reports from РИА Новости, citing sources from the Turkish Ministry of Interior.
“He did not appear on the wanted list or as a threat, thus he entered Turkey as a tourist,” the source stated.
Earlier, the head of Turkey's interior ministry, Ali Yerlikaya, had disclosed the name of the presumed perpetrator of the car explosion in Moscow.
