Yerevan Must Provide Clear Answers on How Azerbaijanis Can Return to Their Historical Lands: Aliyev

“We expect a clear response from Yerevan on how Azerbaijanis expelled from their historical lands in Western Azerbaijan can return, visit, or settle in those areas,” stated Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during the Global Media Forum held in Shushi.

Aliyev also specified where these Azerbaijanis could potentially live. “According to reliable data we have, 90 percent of the villages where Azerbaijanis once lived are now empty,” Aliyev claimed, emphasizing, “I am deeply convinced that this day will come.”
