Azerbaijan Invites Armenia to Align Fundamental Principles of Peace Treaty: Hajiyev
Azerbaijan has invited Armenia to agree on the fundamental principles of a peace treaty before signing a comprehensive agreement. Hikmet Hajiyev, assistant to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, made this statement.
Baku and Yerevan could reach an agreement on these fundamental principles by November, ahead of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP29) to be held in Baku. “Harmonizing these principles could establish friendly relations between the two countries,” he said.
