Palestine Calls on Countries to Rethink Relations with Israel
The special envoy of the President of Palestine, Riyad al-Maliki, has announced to reporters that all countries and the United Nations must reconsider their relations with Israel, taking into account the advisory opinion of the UN International Court regarding the occupation of Palestinian territories.
He noted that the UN International Court has fulfilled its legal and moral obligations by declaring Israel's presence in the occupied Palestinian territories illegal.
"Now all states must strictly adhere to their obligations. This means that all countries and the UN must urgently review their bilateral relations with Israel to ensure that their policies do not directly or indirectly contribute to the ongoing aggression of Israel against the Palestinian people," he stated.
