Shooting Near Civil Contract Party Office Leaves One Injured
A shooting occurred near the Civil Contract party office located at 33 Erebuni Street in Yerevan. According to shamshyan.com, one individual sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital.
Police and patrol officers at the scene found two spent cartridges from a handgun. They pursued and apprehended the perpetrator, who was found in possession of the firearm used in the incident. The man has been taken into custody by the Erebuni police department.
Reports indicate that the suspect is 26-year-old Armen G., known as the son of the owner of a popular beer house in the city of Arevshat, while the victim with gunshot wounds is 27-year-old Harutyun I., a resident of Yerevan.
A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident.
