Czech Ambassador Visits Meghri to Assess Situation in Southern Armenia
Today, on July 8, the head of the Meghri community, Khachatur Andreasyan, hosted the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Armenia, Petr Piruncik. During the meeting, Community Leader Kh. Andreasyan expressed gratitude for the ambassador's visit to Meghri.
The purpose of the ambassador's visit to the Meghri community was informational, with a strong desire to closely understand the situation in southern Armenia. In his remarks, P. Piruncik noted that he had heard many times about the Meghri region, its honey, sweet fruits, and favorable conditions, which motivated him to visit Meghri.
At the end of the meeting, P. Piruncik thanked for the warm welcome, and both sides agreed that meetings should be ongoing.
