Police in Sayat Nova Street Laid Down Oganov's Son on the Ground, Pulled His Hair
Yesterday, in Sayat Nova Street, without a court order, police officers, assisted by masked individuals, stopped and searched the personal vehicle of Valeri Karapetyan, the son of Artsakh hero Samvel Karapetyan. They unnecessarily laid him and a friend on the ground, used physical force, pulled them by their hair, and without any grounds, towed the vehicle to a secure location, refusing to return it today. Valeri Karapetyan's lawyer Roman Yeritsyan reported this on his Facebook page.
“The reason for stopping the vehicle was 'enhanced service,' the reason for laying them on the ground was the phrase 'bro, what do you want,' and the reason for not returning the vehicle was the absurdity of it being 'under discussion.' Nothing subject to criminal legal assessment was found during the search. Additional note: Valeri Karapetyan was my student in Artsakh. In any interaction with third parties, he displays absolute modesty and respect, thus, I exclude the possibility of any excess from him during the procedure,” he wrote.
