Lydian's Monumental Loss as a 'Gift' to Armenia: According to Pashinyan, the Company Belongs to Proud Citizens
The newspaper "Haykakan Zhamanak" reports: "Lydian has presented a monumental loss to Armenia. The head of the government, Nikol Pashinyan, gifted the people of Armenia happiness in January 2024 by announcing that the operator of the Amulsar mine, Lydian Armenia LLC, has donated 12.5% of its shares to the Republic of Armenia, and that these shares do not belong to the government, but to the proud citizens and the people of Armenia.
It turns out that we, completely unaware, are receiving a 'gift' of shares from a company that, according to official results from 2023, ranks 11th for tax losses, which is a record negative indicator.
