Agreements Remain on the Table and Can Be the Basis for Continuing Negotiations, Says Putin
The agreements between Moscow and Kyiv, which were initially signed in Istanbul, remain on the table and can serve as a basis for peace resolution in Ukraine. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during a meeting in the "SCO+" format, where he thanked Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan for organizing the meeting of delegations in March 2022.
"The Istanbul agreements have not gone anywhere; they were initialed by the head of the Ukrainian delegation, which means they were likely entirely beneficial for Ukraine," he noted. "These agreements remain on the table and can be the basis for continuing those negotiations," added the Russian leader.
