US Senator to Arrive in Armenia with Delegation
The President of the National Assembly, Alen Simonyan, signed a decree on July 1, stating: "Guided by Article 5, Section 2, Clause 12 of the 'Constitutional Law on the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly,' I hereby decree: 1. To organize the reception of the delegation led by US Senator Roger Wicker, arriving in the Republic of Armenia from July 2 to 5, 2024. 2. To the Chairman of the National Assembly's Permanent Committee on Foreign Relations, Sargis Khandanyan, to receive the delegation. 3. To the Chief of Staff - Secretary General of the National Assembly, D. Arakelyan, to organize the reception of the delegation in accordance with the National Assembly President's decree K-22-A dated January 25, 2018, regarding the implementation of representative expenses and the provision of souvenirs, funded by the amounts allocated to the National Assembly for this purpose in the 2024 state budget of the Republic of Armenia."
