NYT Editorial Calls on Biden to Withdraw from Presidential Race: Details
The New York Times editorial board has called on President Biden to withdraw from the presidential race, stating that "To Serve His Country, President Biden Should Leave the Race." The editorial emphasized that the U.S. president is currently overshadowed by Donald Trump in the political arena.
According to the NYT, under Biden's administration, the United States has begun healing from the wounds inflicted by Trump; however, during their recent debate, it was evident that the president is no longer the same leader he was in 2020.
"The president has become embroiled in reckless adventurism. Democratic leaders are better positioned to present clear, impactful, and energetic alternatives for Trump's second presidential run," stated the editorial from the American newspaper.
