There Are Extremes That Should Not Be Allowed: Macron
French President Emmanuel Macron has urged the French people to refrain from voting in favor of "extremes" amid polls forecasting the victory of Marine Le Pen's National Rally. This was reported by Le Figaro.
Macron emphasized his confidence in the intelligence and strength of the French people, calling on citizens to be responsible. "There are extremes that should not be allowed. There are many people who want to divide the nation. There are many who want to govern against the people. No," stated Macron.
Meanwhile, Bloomberg reported that President Emmanuel Macron is ready to form a coalition with his political opponents to prevent Marine Le Pen and her right-wing National Rally party from coming to power. The agency cited Macron's statement that opposition political forces could govern the country together. The head of state’s proposal came amid declining ratings for his centrist party and its allies, which are likely doomed to defeat, the report noted.
