Deputy Minister of Economy Presents 'Crossroads of Peace' Project
On June 14, Deputy Minister of Economy Narek Hovakimyan welcomed the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kingdom of Norway, Bergljot Hovland.
Discussions focused on the development of trade and economic relations between Armenia and Norway, diversifying Armenia's economy, and exploring opportunities for cooperation and exchange of experience in agriculture, renewable energy, and efficient management of water resources.
In the context of strengthening Armenian-Norwegian business ties, Narek Hovakimyan proposed considering the participation of Norwegian companies in various investment projects being implemented in Armenia, including the construction of a 'dry port' in Gyumri and the establishment of a World Trade Center.
Narek Hovakimyan also introduced the 'Crossroads of Peace' project to the ambassador, which could become a crucial component of both regional and broader economic cooperation.
