Two of Five Detained from Baghramyan Avenue in Critical Condition
Today evening, members of the National Assembly's 'Armenia' faction, Gegham Manukyan and Arman Ghazaryan, visited the Asharak police department where five detainees arrested from Baghramyan Avenue last night are being held. This was reported by the National Front Telegram channel.
During the visit, it became clear that the detainees had been subjected to violence by police officers. Two of the citizens are in critical condition, having sustained bodily injuries to various parts of their bodies.
According to the lawmakers, the staff of the police department summoned ambulances to the scene, after which the citizens were transferred to the medical center in Asharak for examination and treatment. The opposition MPs and lawyers continue their visits to hospitals and police departments.
