Rescuers Deliver Essential Supplies to Alaverdi via Ropes
In the aftermath of the floods that struck the Lori and Tavush regions, 456 rescue workers have been deployed to assist in recovery efforts. This was announced by Gnel Sanosyan, Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, during a government meeting where he summarized the operations of the emergency management task force.
"The rescue service has engaged 456 personnel, who have evacuated 443 residents. Currently, in the Sanahin neighborhood of Alaverdi, there are 141 residents on the other side of the Debed River, but rescuers are delivering all necessary supplies to them via ropes," said Sanosyan.
