How Many Displaced Persons from Artsakh Have Received Armenian Citizenship?
As of now, 2075 individuals displaced from Artsakh have applied for Armenian citizenship, out of which 1437 have been granted citizenship. This information was shared by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan during the joint session of the permanent commissions discussing the annual report on the implementation of the Republic of Armenia's 2023 state budget.
Currently, 96,696 individuals displaced from Artsakh have received temporary protection certificates, and 83,942 individuals have been registered. Sargsyan indicated that the displaced persons from Artsakh are being served on an expedited basis.
