Hanegbi States That Military Operations in Gaza Will Continue
Israel’s National Security Advisor Tzachi Hanegbi has announced that military operations in the Gaza Strip are likely to continue for at least another seven months, according to Sky News.
“The Israel Defense Forces currently control 75% of the Philadelphi Corridor inside Gaza. I am confident that over time, the IDF will take full control of it. Together with the Egyptians, we must ensure that the smuggling of weapons is prevented,” he told Israel’s Kan public broadcaster.
He added that military operations in the Gaza Strip will continue throughout at least 2024.
