Temporary Restrictions on Cement Imports Applied in Armenia
The government has approved a decision regarding the implementation of temporary restrictions on cement imports in the Republic of Armenia, along with the licensing procedure for imports and the format of the main license.
This decision is motivated by the necessity to regulate cement imports from third countries and to create equal conditions for domestically produced and imported cement in the local market.
The aim of the decision is to develop local cement production and ensure equal conditions for both domestically produced and imported cement in the internal market. This decision is expected to facilitate healthy competition between local cement producers and importers.
