New Square Named After Charles Aznavour
The Paris City Hall has officially named a square in the 8th district of Paris after Charles Aznavour, as reported by BFMTV. The ceremony took place in honor of the maestro's 100th birthday and was attended by Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo, along with the singer's family and friends. Paris paid tribute to Aznavour, whose songs have always held a special place in the city.
This square's selection holds symbolic significance, as it is located not far from the Armenian Esplanade.
