Overturned Mopeds Found in Yerevan; 22-Year-Old Moped Rider Dies in Hospital

A tragic incident occurred in Yerevan on April 24. Around 21:15, near the 'Eko City' neighborhood on Silikian New Highway, police officers discovered overturned motorcycles of the brands 'Hayasa' and 'Vortex 50' according to preliminary information.

As reported by shamshyan.com, later a call was received at the operational management center of the police from a medical center indicating that a citizen brought in had died. According to preliminary information, one of the mopeds was ridden by 22-year-old Vilyam Piliposyan, who was from Yerevan and had succumbed to injuries sustained in the accident.

The investigative department is also exploring the connection of the owner of the second moped to the overturning of the two mopeds. A criminal case has been initiated regarding the incident.
